The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the Arhivele Naţionale ale României Arhivele (Romanian National Archives) via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archives Program Division in July 2004. A copy of this RG was donated by USHMM to INSH RO in 2006.

Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the Arhivele Naţionale ale României Arhivele (Romanian National Archives) via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archives Program Division in July 2004.
